Mataffin, a small growing township located few kilometers away from town (Nelspruit). Its main attration is the Mbombela Stadium owened by the Mbombela Municipality and also some of the areas around.

The Mbombela Municipality seem to be not taking this incident serious. It has been months since the heavy rains passed and yet a lot has not been fixed yet. Most pupils use this routes while going to the nearby schools, and it is unsafe for the young ones. Some of the residents with cars up to this day are unable to drive out from their homes due to the conditions of the roads.
