TRAGEDY UPON UMP STUDENTS
Saturday, 29 May 2021

Yesterday late afternoon a horrible accident that took place in the N4 next to the Riverside Mall (Nelspruit) injured some of UMP students.
Every year tragedy always seems to strike upon students of the University of Mpumalanga. The route that most students use daily from the university campus to the Riverside Mall to get neccesities leads them to pass through a narrow N4 bridge which is unsafe for students and everyone in general.
Yesterday it happened that a Cargo coming from the East direction, lost control and ended up injuring 3 (three) innocent students. The cause the accident is still unknown so as the names of the injured students.
The EFFSC of the University of Mpumalanga released a statement on Facebook requesting the university management to intervene on this matter by offering a student shuttle that will trasport students to Riverside Mall and town as well to avoid such incidents from happening.
