The University of Mpumalanga is new developing university with less than ten years in the industry and yet is has shown lots of great improvements and an astonishing growth over the past few years. For the year 2021, it received a lot number of applications, leading to many not being accepted due to space.

Looking at the fact that many applicants never got a positive response, the University then decided to add 6 more courses (programmes) to create more opportunities to the province and also to the country as a whole.

So far it has been announced that this year all applications will be fully online, and if any changes are made, a statements will be released. Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching - Bed (The only course offered at Siyabuswa Campus) will be the first to close its applications around the end of September 2021 and other programmes, which are offered at Mbombela Campus (Main Campus) will close at the end of October.
